Our History
Graham & Graham, P.C. officially opened its doors in Acton on January 1, 2011. In that sense, we are a brand-new law firm. Our principals, however, are not new to the community, and our roots extend back in time and in place for more than 35 years.
Graham & Graham grew out of the former Acton law practice of Graham & Harsip, P.C., which itself was born from Scheier, Scheier, Graham, & Harsip, (which itself was born from Scheier, Scheier & Graham) with a presence in Acton at least as far back as 1959. When Graham & Harsip, P.C. dissolved, Steven Graham took each of his staff members with him to Graham & Graham and invited his wife, Laura, to bring her Divorce Mediation practice along, too. She claims to be the first "Graham" in the firm title. The creation of a new firm (and the recent move to our new space) has been very exciting, and it has given us a good opportunity to walk a mile in our clients' shoes. We have had the chance to experience first-hand what we normally experience vicariously—the development and build-out of a new space and the satisfaction of creating something new.
